Fic: In the Matter of the Application of Malfoy, Draco | Draco | Gen

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Title: In the Matter of the Application of Malfoy, Draco
Author: [info]diabolica / [info]celta_diabolica
Character(s): Draco, cameos by Narcissa, Lucius and Snape
Rating: Gen
Word Count: 1800
Warnings: Snape!lives-AU
Summary: Draco returns to Britain a year after the Dark Lord’s defeat. His first stop? The Ministry.
Notes: For [info]catsintheattic, who gave me this prompt: Draco's return to Britain. Could be that moment when he steps off a ship or plane or out of the floo network, could be his first dealing with the Ministry to get his papers cleared, could be his first round through Malfoy Manor. This was supposed to be a teenyfic, but it turned out to be such a good prompt that I promptly committed a teenyfic fail.

This piece can be read as a coda to Scylla, Charybdis and the Delicate Art of Secret-Keeping.

Shall we agree that just this once, I’m going to change my life... )

Fic: A Form of Persuasion, Lucius/Severus preslash, Adult-ish

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Title: A Form of Persuasion
Author: [info]diabolica / [info]celta_diabolica
Pairing Lucius/Severus, preslash
Rating: Adult-ish? Nothing very graphic happens, but it’s not a bedtime story for littl’uns either.
Warnings: I think I must have used about 57 cliches here. Also, teenage!Snape is an angstwhore drama queen. And Lucius is a cradle-snatcher.
Word Count: 840 (It's teeny. No, really.)
Disclaimer: Jo would never approve of the uses I put these boys to. But they sure seem to like it.
Author's Notes: For [info]luciusmistress, who gave me the following prompt: "Come here; I think you're beautiful", Lucius convinces/tries to convince/makes him feel that there's something unique about Severus. This may not be what you had in mind. It’s more angsty than fluffy, and Lucius is a right bastard who refuses to utter the word beautiful, but still, there’s something about Severus ... Hope you like it, hon!

Pairings – Part V: Narcissa/Lucius, but mostly Gen
Rating – Part V: PG-13 (mild language)
Warnings – Part V: References to infidelity, AU in that Snape survived the war
Word Count – Part V: ~ 4850
Summary – Part V: ‘I’ve spent a lifetime learning the ways in which wizards underestimate witches. There are certain advantages in being underestimated. The simplicity of a weapon does not mean I won’t use it.’

Check out Part I, Part II , or Part III.

Part IV was too long for one post, so it's broken into two halves.

Pairings – Part IV: Narcissa/Lucius
Other Characters – Part IV: Severus Snape, Bellatrix Lestrange, Draco Malfoy, Rodolphus and Rabastan Lestrange
Rating – Part IV: NC-17 (language, explicit sex)
Warnings – Part IV: References to infidelity, angst
Word Count – Part IV: ~ 10,800
Summary – Part IV: She had begun to fear that Lucius was truly broken, but the fire in him now told her that was not the case. He was reluctant; she could understand that. But her resolve was not shaken. It would simply take work to convince him that her plan was the only way forward.

Beta read by the incomparable AmyLouise.

Fic: Scylla, Charybdis and the Delicate Art of Secret-Keeping Part III

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
I'm posting a wee bit early this week because I won't be near a computer tomorrow.

Complete Story Header at Part I
Part II can be found here.

Pairings – Part III: Narcissa/Snape
Other Characters: Bellatrix Lestrange, Voldemort
Rating – Part III: R (language, non-explicit sex)
Warnings – Part III: Infidelity, oblique references to child abuse
Word Count – Part III: ~ 9080
Summary – Part III: Severus had withstood the whispers about the nature of his relationship with Narcissa and not discouraged the gossip. Though he didn’t suppose Lucius would necessarily approve of his methods, he imagined his old friend would appreciate that because of Severus, no one had tried to take liberties with his wife. Thus he had protected the mother as well as the son, and it had never once occurred to him that Narcissa herself might want more than his protection.

*Dips toe in the slash pool*

Looklook! I wrote pre-slash!!! Or post-slash ... or both. *scratches head* Ah, well, depends how you look at it. Also, I wrote something before the end of the month. It's just a lil' dialogue-only drabble though, so hopefully the muse will strike again this month. Still, I feel inordinately pleased with myself. It's my first slashy (slashesque?) outing. Because. Well. Snucius is love.

Title: One drink
Author: [info]diabolica
Pairing: Lucius/Snape
Warnings: This drabble takes itself way too seriously
Word Count: 163
